As a matrimonial and family law attorney, I understand that I serve as a resource for my clients not only in navigating legal and financial complexities, but on a personal level as well. I approach my practice with a mix of transparency and compassion, and will always zealously advocate for my client’s best interests.

Jennifer Montoya has spent her career on matrimonial and family law matters, combining her unique background as a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst and trained mediator. Her expertise in law and finance allows her to provide a comprehensive service to her clients to resolve or litigate financial issues such as asset or income tracing, complicated compensation structures, or high-end lifestyle matters.

Before joining KSTM, Jennifer worked exclusively in complex high-net-worth matrimonial litigation and alternative dispute resolution for over 10 years, serving as an associate at Alter Wolff Foley & Stutman LLP and as a senior manager for a boutique financial services firm that specialized in high-net-worth matrimonial matters.

Jennifer received her B.A. from Binghamton University and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. During law school, she was a member of the Uncontested Divorce Project for Battered Women and Indigent Clients.
