Daniel Miller has extensive experience representing clients in all aspects of complex matrimonial and family law, including but not limited to classification of property, equitable distribution, custody, visitation, financial support obligations, parental alienation, and orders of protection. He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut courts and is well-versed in litigating appeals in the New York Appellate Division.
Prior to joining KSTM, Daniel spent more than 10 years as the principal court attorney for the Honorable Elisa S. Koenderman. During much of this time, he assisted Judge Koenderman on proceedings in the Integrated Domestic Violence Court in Supreme Court, Queens County, which adjudicates complex matrimonial, family, and criminal cases. This role honed Daniel’s expertise in all aspects of divorce and custody litigation, strengthened his motion practice, and equipped him with crucial courtroom skills that he applies to his work today.
Daniel is a prolific writer who contributed to dozens of published judicial decisions, some of which appeared in several notable outlets, including the New York Law Journal and McKinney’s Consolidated Laws of New York Annotated. Daniel received his B.A with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of Moot Court and the Fordham Environmental Law Review.
